Nicole Balsamo is a queer writer and editor of fantasy, science fiction, and urban fantasy. Her work often explores dysfunctional families, why we love the people who hurt us, and how far we will go for the people that we love. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida, where she wrote Vampire Nonsense almost exclusively.
