Trees in the Bayou

Maudie Ainsworth is currently based in New Orleans, LA. Film photography is a relatively new medium for her, and she’d like to thank the New Orleans Community Printshop and Dark Room for taking her under their wing. It may be a little revealing of one’s hand, but the effect garnered from the bayou trees came from film that expired over ten years ago. Not only did it save a few dollars, but it made some really dreamy portraits of the bayou in Jean-Lafitte park just outside of New Orleans.
