Rachel Tanner

Spaces Pt. 1

I don't want privacy at this point; I want you

in my space. I want you to crawl up

the shelf by my head and gingerly rest

your feet on my shoulders. We'd be nearly 12

feet tall that way. We would be

unstoppable. We're both in our 30s

so there's no need to don a trench

coat and sneak into an R-rated movie.

We already have everything we need.

We'd be doing it just for fun.

Can't you imagine us skyscraping

through town, carefully balanced and poised?

Let them stop and stare. Who gives a fuck.

What we do is our business, and our

business is to become the tallest

motherfucker in town.
